Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) is committed to keeping pets and families together whenever it is possible to do so. We have programs in place to assist owners through difficult times. When an animal is not able to stay with its family there are resources that can be used before owners need to resort to surrendering their pet to the shelter. The animal shelter should be a last resort for animals in search of a new home.
