Overview

Bridges is a voluntary program available to young adults who left foster care in Ohio at ages 18 to 21 and who are in school, working, participating in an employment program, or have a medical condition that prevents them from going to school or working. The program provides guidance and support as they transition to adulthood.

Your Bridges Liaison can help you find somewhere safe and affordable, whether that means an apartment, low-income housing, a college dorm room, housing with a supportive adult or other community-based housing. Bridges may be able to help you pay for rent, utilities, food, clothing and other personal incidentals.
